We visited as a guest of Disneyland   Holiday’s at the Disneyland Resort is something my family has been celebrating since I was a child and it is one of those traditions that I will never get tired of experiencing. From the beautiful lights to the yummy treats at Disneyland, it is a magical way to celebrate the holidays. This year I went with my mom, and we got to experience the holidays just as they began. One of my favorite things every year at is the Disneyland Christmas tree. Every year at Disneyland they have the most fantastic tree that I could stare at for hours. We visited as a guest of the venue Every year our family looks forward to celebrating the holidays at Universal Studios Hollywood. The first thing that we noticed was the giant 40-foot tall Christmas tree that features 200,000 LED icicles! The tree sparkles every night, and the lights are choreographed to the sounds of the season – plus Santa also makes a special appearance too. As we walked through Universal CityWalk, we admired all the...

Holiday Celebrations at Bluewater Grill in Newport Beach

We dined as a guest of the venue Earlier this week, we were guests of Bluewater Grill in Newport Beach, CA. The occasion was an early holiday date night complete with a Stuffed Lobster meal that is currently being offered at all the Bluewater Grill locations. The stuffed lobster is a favorite amongst the regulars at Bluewater Grill and is a New England Holiday Tradition. The lobster gets stuffed instead of the bird. This tradition was started by restaurants in the Boston area but has caught on this side of the coast. We arrived for our reservations and were immediately walked to our table. We chose inside seating, but the restaurant offers some great outside seating by the docks with great views of Newport harbor. As we took our seat, the freshly baked sourdough bread (unlimited for those of...

Posted by on Oct 5, 2018 in Events, Halloween, Holiday, Knott's Berry Farm | 0 comments

We visited as a guest of Knott’s Hanging out with friends and going to theme parks are two of my absolute favorite things to do. When you put them together, you get one very happy teenager. My mom surprised me with tickets to go to Knott’s Scary Farm for the first time on Friday. So, in honor of all the teenagers going with their friends, I decided to write a guide to go to Knott’s Scary Farm with friends. This year was my first time attending Knott’s Scary Farm, and I was extremely terrified. My older brother has been going since he was in 6th grade and never found the courage to go. This year I finally felt ready, and it wasn’t that bad. That’s my first tip, make sure you are ready before going. You have to make...

Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch Through the Eyes of a Teenager

Posted by on Oct 3, 2018 in Events, Family, Halloween, Holiday | 0 comments

We visited as a guest of Irvine Park I have been going to the Irvine Park Railroad since I was a baby. Irvine Park Railroad is one of my favorite family traditions. Now that my brother and I are older, our friends ask us, “Do you guys still enjoy going to Irvine Park Railroad?” Well, let me give you the most straightforward answer…YES! Just because we are teenagers does not mean we don’t love panning for gold and decorating our own cookies. In fact, when we know that a holiday is coming up, we jump at the chance to go to Irvine Park Railroad. I know a lot of the activities they have at the park seem like they would only be appealing to toddlers and younger children, but adults forget that teenagers are kids too and probably wouldn’t...
