Sponsored Looking for the cutest holiday fashions for your kids, and don’t want to break the bank? The Children’s Place has been one of our go-to places for holiday fashions for our kids, and everything is priced perfectly to fit into our tight holiday budget. Not only does The Children’s Place have great holiday fashions but also has a great selection of warm winter wear. I found that my kids haven’t worn pants in quite awhile when putting them on during our first spell of cold weather earlier this month. I was able to get my kids stocked up with pairs of high-quality jeans for less than $10 a pair! My kids can roll around in the mud or crawl across the sidewalk without having me feel stressed about ruining an expensive pair of jeans. Another favorite item to...

Posted by on Nov 7, 2015 in Beauty, Family, Fashion | 0 comments

We attended as a guest of the venue We had the opportunity to enjoy a makeover from Ashley Rudder, Senior Artist with M.A.C. Cosmetics. She was sweet, so gracious and explained each step and product used for each application. A few of the new color palette’s used are some of our favorites during the holidays with plums, pinks and metallic’s and of course the names are great; evening rendezvous, soft savor, a sense of glamour and black swan. When we stepped upon the staging area at the end of the work day, we were able to relax in our director’s chair as Ashley worked her magic. Sharing in stories, laughter and new ideas to take home for make up application during the holidays; you know those little tricks of the trade. After Ashley had transformed us into glamorous mom’s,...

Finding the Perfect Fitness Shoes at Endurance House

Posted by on Nov 4, 2015 in Family, Fashion, Fitness, Shopping | 0 comments

We visited as a guest of the venue I love my flip flops. I am rarely spotted around town wearing anything other than flip flops. I’ve hiked in them, traveled with them and spent most of my adult like wearing them. When I was invited on a trip of a lifetime to hike in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, I knew that I had to bring a good pair of tennis shoes for hiking – but realized I didn’t know where to start when looking for a good pair of tennis shoes to bring with me on my trip. I began asking around to many of my friends, and they all recommended the same place – Endurance House in Laguna Niguel. I went into the store with my younger son and was immediately greeted by the nicest staff members. They...

Best Hair Care with Scott Fontana Hair Products

Posted by on Nov 3, 2015 in Beauty, Family, Fashion, Shopping | 0 comments

Review product received I’ve become very fond of Scott Fontana’s hair products over this past year so when I was asked to test the new product line from the Scott Fontana Collection, I jumped at the chance! If you remember, I had the privilege of having Scott trim and style my flat, boring hair at the Christophe Salon in Newport Beach, CA about a year ago. It was then I discovered his talent with hair, as he truly created the best haircut I’ve ever known. My friends and family will agree with me 100 percent! For that alone, Scott rocks! Arriving home one evening, I find a lovely little package waiting for me full of delicious products to test. My first thought, “I can’t wait to go wash my hair!” Who knew this simple task would create such excitement...

Ultimate Teen Boy Halloween Costume

Posted by on Oct 29, 2015 in Family, Fashion, Halloween, Holiday | 0 comments

Review product received My brother was rethinking dressing up for Halloween this year, and I thought it wouldn’t be fun without him. He is always stressed out about going out to Trick-or-Treating because of his food allergies, and the fact that he usually can’t eat any of the candy. So being the fashionista I am I went on-line and found something that I knew he would like – awesome morph suits. My family and I surprised him with an awesome morph suit, and suddenly he wanted to go trick or treating again with us. He was so happy he wore it for most of the night trying to scare family members. The morph suit isn’t just a regular color morph suit; it’s a monster morph suit. The morph suit has foam teeth and a bunch of cool accessories. It’s...

If you are a native to Orange County, then you can’t forget the classic Balboa Beach Company clothing line. When I was in High School, everyone had at least 2-3 pieces of clothing that sported the classic OC logo, and after awhile the company disappeared. Guess what? Two amazing OC teens have brought back the legendary brand, and recently re-opened the store on Balboa Island. We talked with Samantha “Sami” Pratt about bringing back the brand, and what inspired her and her brother to bring back the Balboa Beach Company. What inspired you to bring back this legendary brand? I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit and was looking for a company to start. My dad was sporting his Balboa Beach Company tee shirts and every time I asked about them, he’d share his memories of them with me....

Posted by on May 13, 2015 in Beauty, Family, Fashion, Featured | 0 comments

Complimentary service received Whenever there is a special event, I always go for a blowout. As moms, we all work very hard. So, when a special event comes up, getting a blow-out is a special treat, and oh so relaxing. Recently, when preparing to attend the World Premiere of the upcoming film “Tomorrowland,” I found it virtually impossible to get an appointment anywhere in Orange County for a blow-out. Sure I could find an 11am appointment and then my daughter found one appointment at 1:15 across town at a different location. So, I chatted with my girlfriend who was also attending the premiere about “what do we do?” We took to Twitter and tweeted to some salons asking for help getting squeezed into their books with no luck. Then she remembered having her hair done at an event by...
