Posted by on Feb 8, 2017 in Best of OC, Dining, Valentine's Day | 0 comments

We visited as a guest of the venue The best gift that parents can give their children is the gift of having parents with a healthy marriage. The one thing that I have found to be key in keeping the spark alive in my marriage of almost 20 years is to spend as much time together alone as possible. We go on date nights at least a couple of times a month and try our best to have romantic getaways whenever we can. With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, our children’s busy schedule has us booked driving them around town on Valentine’s Day, so we celebrated earlier this year by having a romantic morning enjoying brunch on the water while on a Hornblower Cruise. We had always wanted to do a dinner or brunch Hornblower Cruise, and this year seemed...

Give Your Kids the Gift of Memories

Posted by on Feb 6, 2017 in Family, Parenting, Tech, Valentine's Day | 0 comments

Sponsored I love to give my children handmade gifts on Valentine’s Day. I love them so much and want them to know how much they mean to me. Every year, I try to think of something special that I can make for them that they will cherish in their hearts forever. This year, instead of making a craft or recipe, I am going to give them the gift of our memories together by making a photo slideshow. I recently started using the Moto Z Droid from Verizon and have the Insta-Share Projector Moto Mod, so I thought it would be perfect to surprise them on Valentine’s Day by sharing my photo slideshow on their bedroom wall before going to bed with my Moto Z Droid Insta-Share Projector Moto Mod. When I told my husband and what I was going...

Whether you are giving them to your mother, friend or wife, you’ll want to gift the highest quality roses that are beautiful, and superior quality. The premier source for luxury roses to give someone you love on Valentine’s Day is Rosehire. Rosehire roses are delivered to your home within hours of being cut from the field. They arrive in a beautiful box with each rose having their own individual water tube to help keep them fresh. Each set of roses has a signature from the person who personally put the roses together along with care instructions and a letter from the founders. With proper care, the roses should last from 5-10 days. If you have someone who loves Disney, which many moms do, they have an...

There is also opportunities to meet Po and Tigress from Kung Fu Panda, and Curious George. Wishing Trees When your family first arrives at Universal Plaza...

Posted by on Dec 26, 2016 in Christmas, Entertainment, Holiday, Theatre | 0 comments

We visited as a guest of the venue Earlier this week, we were invited to watch the musical Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. We were so excited when we received tickets for the musical because we have been watching the classic 1964 Claymation movie almost daily. The Dolby Theatre is relatively new and every seat has a perfect view of the stage. It made the experience that much more special. My three-year-old son and one-year-old daughter both love the movie, as do my husband and I. It brought me back to when I was growing up and would watch the movie with my parents. The musical follows the sequence of the beloved movie and is narrated by Sam the Snowman. They had performers and even puppeteers to enhance the performance making it feel as if you were...
