We attended a preview of the Knott’s Boysenberry Festival It is the most delicious time of the year to visit Knott’s Berry Farm for their yearly Boysenberry Festival. The event is a favorite of my family, with the food being the best part. This year is better than ever with more delicious boysenberry food than ever, and these are our top picks! My absolute favorite food this year is the boysenberry elote. The tasty corn is located at the Ghost Town Bank Stand, and I guarantee that you can’t just eat one. I may or may not be guilty of coming back for seconds. For those who are looking to eat healthier at Knott’s while attending the boysenberry festival will want to dine at Spurs Chophouse. The highly-acclaimed restaurant is featuring a boysenberry glazed salmon over mixed greens. Also,...

The new Yogurtland flavor was crafted alongside Knott’s and has arrived in stores nationwide, only a couple days away from the newly-expanded Knott’s Boysenberry Festival which runs daily from March 29 – April 28th. Each spoonful of Yogurtland’s Boysenberry Pie frozen yogurt flavor is bursting with the jammy richness and sweet and tart taste of fresh boysenberries followed by hints of a butter sweet pie crust. Inspired by the world-class award-winning pies, it’s creamy and delicious, and no doubt Mrs. Knott herself would approve. We attended the event as a guest of Knott’s We kicked off the holiday season this year at a very special tree lighting as Knott’s Berry Farm became transformed into Knott’s Merry Farm. The evening of the tree lighting, I picked up my daughter from school, and we went to Knott’s Berry Farm for a lovely mother and daughter night out. When we first arrived, we went to Santa’s Christmas Cabin to visit with Santa. My daughter sat next to Santa and whispered all her Christmas wishes into his ear. After visiting Santa, we walked around and did a little holiday shopping at the Christmas Crafts Village. Throughout Ghost Town are many vendors selling handmade crafts that make the perfect holiday gifts. Then the time had come for the giant tree located in the heart of Knott’s Berry Farm...

We visited as a guest of Knott’s Berry Farm Knott’s Camp Spooky has always been one of my favorite things to do with my children during the Halloween season. I have been bringing my kids since they were babies, and unfortunately, two of my kids have transitioned to Knott’s Scary Farm, leaving me with just one kid who is young enough to still experience the fun. Since this is one of my last years with a kid young enough to experience the fun, I took my time with my son to make every moment matter. I turned off my cell phone, directed all of my attention into my son’s experience, and it ended up being one of my favorite visits to Knott’s ever. We started the day in Camp Snoopy. I kind of shed a tear remembering my now...

It was an incredibly hot day to visit Knott’s, so we didn’t have the kids come in their costumes to trick-or-treat like we have in the past. Our day started in Camp Snoopy where I watched the...

Posted by on May 3, 2013 in Events, Featured, Giveaways, Knott's Berry Farm, Uncategorized | 21 comments

It’s heating up, and time to make a splash at Knott’s Soak City this summer! Soak City is one of the best things to do with kids in Southern California. With their fast water slides, lazy river and water play the fun is endless. Last year, Knott’s Soak City, was one of our favorite places to cool-off from the summer heat. My kids could not get enough of the fun water slides, and we created so many wonderful family memories while floating along the lazy river. My favorite thing to do at Soak City is to rent a private cabana for the day. When staying in a cabana, we were able to get personalized service, have our food brought right to us and plenty of shade. When visiting Soak City this summer, come early to order a private cabana...

Disclosure: We attended a media preview for the log ride opening. The famous Knotts Berry Farm log ride is currently closed for renovation and redesign. The historic ride is undergoing its first major renovation since first being built in 1969. The ride was originally called the Calico Log Ride before being renamed as the Timber Mountain Log Ride. It is Spring and flowers are blooming all over Knott’s Berry Farm until April 7th. There are more events, more shows and more family fun to enjoy at this festive Spring event. Last weekend, my husband Steve took the kids with him to explore the Spring event at Knott’s. When the first arrived at Knott’s Berry Farm, they savored in the delicious food at Spur’s Restaurant. Spur’s is one of our favorite restaurants to dine at when visiting Knott’s. Spurs is located outside of the Ghostrider ride and has a family-friendly outdoor patio. After they were done eating, it was time for them to enjoy some fun around the park. They went in search of the Easter Beagle by searching for five different hide-outs hidden throughout the park. The kids were given a card that helped to guide them...

Posted by on Jan 8, 2013 in Events, Featured, Knott's Berry Farm, New Year's Eve, Uncategorized | 0 comments

Knott’s Berry Farm was hosting a “family friendly” NYE Celebration this year. We have had season passes this year and have visited Knott’s numerous times over the past year. We had never seen so many young families enjoying quality time together, at Knott’s as we did on New Year’s Eve. There was fun to be enjoyed throughout the park. The big festivities began starting at dark, but since we are a little nervous about driving with young kids at night on New Year’s Eve, we had to miss the dancing and fireworks. We were still able to feel like part of the NYE celebration at Knott’s by following the fun on Instagram. When we first arrived at Knott’s Berry Farm, we started on some of our classic favorite Knott’s rides, The mailbox ride, cho-cho train and the hot air...
