Posted by on Nov 26, 2018 in Christmas, Events, Holiday, Knott's Berry Farm, Theme Parks | 0 comments

We attended the event as a guest of Knott’s We kicked off the holiday season this year at a very special tree lighting as Knott’s Berry Farm became transformed into Knott’s Merry Farm. The evening of the tree lighting, I picked up my daughter from school, and we went to Knott’s Berry Farm for a lovely mother and daughter night out. When we first arrived, we went to Santa’s Christmas Cabin to visit with Santa. My daughter sat next to Santa and whispered all her Christmas wishes into his ear. After visiting Santa, we walked around and did a little holiday shopping at the Christmas Crafts Village. Throughout Ghost Town are many vendors selling handmade crafts that make the perfect holiday gifts. Then the time had come for the giant tree located in the heart of Knott’s Berry Farm...

Teen Guide to Knott’s Scary Farm

Posted by on Oct 5, 2018 in Events, Halloween, Holiday, Knott's Berry Farm | 0 comments

We visited as a guest of Knott’s Hanging out with friends and going to theme parks are two of my absolute favorite things to do. When you put them together, you get one very happy teenager. My mom surprised me with tickets to go to Knott’s Scary Farm for the first time on Friday. So, in honor of all the teenagers going with their friends, I decided to write a guide to go to Knott’s Scary Farm with friends. This year was my first time attending Knott’s Scary Farm, and I was extremely terrified. My older brother has been going since he was in 6th grade and never found the courage to go. This year I finally felt ready, and it wasn’t that bad. That’s my first tip, make sure you are ready before going. You have to make...

Growing up with Knott’s Camp Spooky

Posted by on Oct 3, 2018 in Halloween, Holiday, Knott's Berry Farm, Theme Parks | 0 comments

We visited as a guest of Knott’s Berry Farm Knott’s Camp Spooky has always been one of my favorite things to do with my children during the Halloween season. I have been bringing my kids since they were babies, and unfortunately, two of my kids have transitioned to Knott’s Scary Farm, leaving me with just one kid who is young enough to still experience the fun. Since this is one of my last years with a kid young enough to experience the fun, I took my time with my son to make every moment matter. I turned off my cell phone, directed all of my attention into my son’s experience, and it ended up being one of my favorite visits to Knott’s ever. We started the day in Camp Snoopy. I kind of shed a tear remembering my now...

We attended as a guest of the venue Summer is officially here and it is the perfect time to get outside and soak up the summer sun at Knott’s Soak City. Last week, I got the kids into their new swimsuits and brought them for an unforgettable day of play at Knott’s Soak City. We visited on the grand reopening, and families were lined up at the front gates, eager to play when we arrived. Knott’s Soak City has expanded by over two acres, and has completely transformed to become a premier water oasis. There are new water slides, cabanas, and a reenvisioned cafe called Longboards Grill. Since I have toddlers, my family spent most of the day in the kiddie area called Gremmie Lagoon. There were mini water slides, splash pads, and other interactive water features. It was...

We visited as a guest of Knott’s It might be quite scary in the evening at Knott’s for Knott’s Scary Farm, but it is all family fun in the daytime during Knott’s Spooky Farm. Visiting Knott’s Spooky Farm has been a yearly tradition that our family has enjoyed since our kids were toddlers. I can still remember the time when my youngest was still in diapers trick-or-treating around Camp Snoopy, and now he is all grown-up. Our kids kept asking when we were going to Knott’s Spooky Farm, and we surprised them with a day at the theme park over the weekend. It was an incredibly hot day to visit Knott’s, so we didn’t have the kids come in their costumes to trick-or-treat like we have in the past. Our day started in Camp Snoopy where I watched the...

We arrived at Knott’s Berry Farm about half an hour early and waited by the entrance to Camp Snoopy where we watched the Ghosts and Goblins awake from their year’s rest. Multiple scary creatures and zombies paraded around in front of us, giving us a sneak peek of what we were going to be in store for that night. When the ropes were taken down, and we were allowed to enter Knott’s Scary Farm the...
