We visited as a guest of Disney While I was in Florida learning about Disney’s The Lion King and Born and China, I went to have breakfast with one of the world’s top conservationist Anne Savage. I was very busy leading up to the trip, and while I had a chance to read her extensive bio, I didn’t have an opportunity to look up her photo online. I had trouble sleeping the night before the interview because I was so excited about meeting the two of them. With The Lion King being one of my favorite Disney movies, I had so many questions that I was wanted to ask them that were spinning around in my head as...

During my trip, most of my time was spent at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and one of my favorite things that I did while exploring the theme park was watching the interactive production of Festival of the Lion King. During the performance, the film beautifully came to life. There was music, dancing, and all of our favorite Lion King characters. One of my favorite parts of the performance was when a dancer came out onto the stage and spun a wheel of real fire. He did many tricks with the fire and even breathed a...
