We visited as a guest of the venue When planning our upcoming Mother and Daughter getaway to explore the history and culture of Querétaro, I knew that I wanted to stay in boutique style hotels to fully experience the culture and history of the beautiful city. We used Pied à Terre to find La Casa De Los Dos Leones in Querétaro because they are the premier community to help travelers with finding the best boutique hotels that focus on culture, art, and gastronomy. Moments after arriving in Querétaro, our driver took us to La Casa De Los Dos Leones which was located in the heart of the city, and where a beautiful Kia Sorento was in the parking lot awaiting our arrival. As we walked into the lobby, we were greeted by the staff who offered us a refreshing...

I took time to admire every curve of the designs sculpted into the cement walls that surrounded the atrium. In the middle was a gorgeous fountain and there was a tall cement staircase where I stopped to sit and embrace all the...

We dined as a guest After arriving in Querétaro, Mexico, I couldn’t wait to sink my taste buds into some authentic cuisine. I was visiting some friends in the area, and they had recommended that my first meal in the city be at the popular dining destination, El Mesón de Chucho el Roto. The restaurant is located in the heart of the city and features a relaxing outdoor dining patio where guests can hear live music from the center and enjoy beautiful views of the historic building surrounding the center. When we arrived, we were taken to a table on the patio where we sipped on hibiscus water and enjoyed the live music. Grasshoppers are one of my favorite things to enjoy while in Mexico, and my daughter had yet to try it, so we ordered some Sopes de...
