Celebrate Nature as Acorn Day Returns to O’Neill Regional Park


On Saturday, October 19th from 10am to 3pm, families are invited to celebrate nature as Acorn Day returns to O’Neill Regional Park. Families can enjoy hiking along the trails, fun activities and exhibits planned throughout the celebration.

Acorn Day offers ranger-led hikes and interpretive programs as well as crafts, games and tree planting. Live animals will be on exhibit at booths presented by the Orange County Bird of Prey Center, Monarchs Forever and Inside the Outdoors. Various presentations will be going on throughout the event. Children will enjoy storytelling and a puppet show.

Reserve a campsite and stay at the park for the entire day to truly enjoy the magic of nature at Acorn Day at O’Neill Regional Park.
