Celebrate Thanksgiving at El Capitan Canyon

El Capitan Canyon is one of our favorite family travel destinations for creating special family memories while “glamping.” This Thanksgiving, they are hosting a special dinner on November 27th.

El Capitan Canyon surrounds guests in a beautiful natural setting, alongside a creek nestled among 300 acres of undeveloped foothills. El Capitan Canyon offers a family style banquet dinner for the Thanksgiving holiday where guests can escape the chores of the kitchen and take an easy drive into the woods to a place where they can truly unwind and spend some time enjoying the company of close family and friends. The Canyon offers a delicious selection of all the Thanksgiving classics while guests can sit back and relax under the fall leaves of sycamore and oak trees rustling overhead.

Guests may choose to stay in one of the furnished safari tents or cedar cabins with all the necessary comforts, then step just outside their front door (or tent flap) to explore.

The Canyon will be offering a warm and cozy holiday meal with plenty of options for seconds this Thanksgiving. Dinner will include:
· Carving Station: Fresh Turkey seasoned to perfection and Slow Cooked Honey Ham
· Salads: Mixed Green Salad with a choice of Dressing, Ranch or Balsamic Vinaigrette
· Sides: Savory Stuffing, Buttery Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Cranberry Relish, Chef’s Special Green Beans, Sweet Candied Yams, Fresh Dinner Rolls and Butter
· Dessert: Canyon Ice Cream and Dessert Station, Pumpkin & Assorted Pies, and Campfire S’mores
· Hot and Cold Beverage Station: Brewed Coffee, Decaf, Hot Apple Cider, Sparkling Apple Cider, Lemonade and Iced Tea
