The highly-anticipated time has come for “The Good Dinosaur” to open in theaters. The movie is one of the most spectacular movies ever created where animators unleashed their creativity to make the magical masterpiece that is the “The Good Dinosaur.”

Going into watching the film, I didn’t know what to expect. I had heard that the film was going to have a similar feel to one of my favorite animated films of all time “Up,” which made me even more excited to see the movie. I had the unforgettable opportunity of seeing the film for the first time in the historic El Capitan Theatre which made the experience more even more magical than I could have ever imagined. When the curtain went up, and the film began to start, I fell in love with the film.

The movie is about love, compassion, and kindness. After losing his father in a tragic accident, Arlo gets separated from his family and begins his journey of finding his way home. While on the journey, he meets spot which helps Arlo and supports him with him with the struggle of fear. In the beginning, Arlo was blaming Spot for the reason his father was killed. Spot continues to show kindness and love towards Arlo, and the become each other’s family. It is an emotional journey that everyone who watches the movie can relate too, and I recommend bringing a package of tissues along with you when going to see it in theaters.

“The Good Dinosaur” is a film that families should experience together during the holiday season. After watching the film, I encourage parents to sit down with their children and talk about how the movie made them feel. The movie is full of many life-lessons and has great conversation starters to help children open up and talk about feelings.

Don’t miss seeing “The Good Dinosaur” in theaters today.
