Celebrate the Meaning of Family when seeing COCO

We were given a special experience as a guest of Disney

The highly anticipated time has come for Disney-Pixar’s most beautiful film ever created, COCO to be in theaters starting today! The film is about love, family, traditions, and introduces families to the Mexican celebration of Día de los Muertos. I was lucky to have a chance to go to Pixar Animation Studios a couple of months ago where I got to learn all about the making of the film, spend time with my work family, and fall in love with the film.

While at Pixar, I got to learn about Pepita (Mamá Imelda’s Spirit Guide), Dante, and how they brought the skeletons to life in the film. While learning about the film, I also got a chance to create memories with my work friends, who I travel with frequently, and I captured many photos with that I was able to use to create a Chatbooks photo album. With so many of my memories with friends and families being stored on electronic devices, it is nice to have my memories from Pixar in a book that I can bring out on holidays or when I have friends over to share with.

While I was at Pixar, I only got to see the first thirty minutes of the film. It wasn’t until I attended the world premiere that I got to see the entire film and fall in love with the film more than I ever thought I would. While watching the film, I was immersed in the story. The lighting, the story and the music evoked such a strong emotion in me that there were many times when I couldn’t help but cry, so I recommend bringing a couple of tissues with you when going to see the movie.

Along with COCO, all of your favorite friends from FROZEN will return with an all-new story, Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, before the feature film. Olaf will take your family on a hilarious adventure as he tries to find his family traditions.

I can’t wait to share the story of COCO with my children this Thanksgiving weekend, and I highly recommend bringing your family to see it too. Thanksgiving is a time to celebrate family and COCO will bring your family closer together this holiday season. COCO is in theaters starting today! Learn more about COCO online, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
