Celebrating Another Year with a Croods Birthday Party

It’s hard to believe that my youngest son, Tyler, is going to turn seven this week. In celebration of his upcoming birthday, this coming week, we had a surprise celebration with some of his closest friends today. We hosted a fun Croods birthday party with the movie, popcorn, crafts, cupcakes and more!

We started off the celebration making our own Croods creatures. The kids got to let their imaginations run wild while creating their own animals. After the kids had finished creating their own make-believe animals, it was time to cut-out masks to wear during our “party parade” down the street.

Then it was time for Tyler’s favorite part of the party, where we sang “Happy Birthday” to him. His friends all gave him good wishes before he blew out the candles to start his seventh year of life. The kids faces were covered with frosting and sprinkles as they savored the delicious birthday cupcakes during the party.

Finally, the party ended with all of the kids cozying up inside with their super plush blankets and popcorn to watch the movie the Croods. They were laughing together throughout the movie while watching their favorite characters survive their adventure together as a family in the film.

It was a great kick-off to my son’s birthday week, and the beginning of many celebrations. The Croods is coming out on DVD and Blu-ray combo pack on October 1st.
