Celebrating Children at the CASA Holiday Luncheon

adoptive-families-orange-county

There is nothing more important in our community than the children. Unfortunately, not all children living in Orange County are fortunate to have a loving and stable home to come home to every day. Many children that are in the foster care system crave one thing – stability. The volunteers at CASA are making a difference in the lives of children in our foster care program by doing one important thing – being there for them.

While a child may have to move from house to house, and change schools multiple times throughout their childhood, their CASA volunteer is always there for them. They are there to support the children they are working with, ensure that the child’s needs are met, and ensure that the children who they are working with know how important they are.

CASA Holiday Luncheon

Every year, CASA holds a holiday luncheon to help raise funds to train more volunteers to help children in our community, with this year being their most successful event to date. During the one-day event at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort, our community opened their hearts and their wallets and over $300,000 was raised for CASA of Orange County.

I encourage families to open their hearts and help support CASA of Orange County in the New Year. There are many ways to help from becoming a volunteer yourself to making a donation that will impact the life of an Orange County child who is currently in the foster care system.
