CHILL at The Queen Mary is a Winter Wonderland
We visited as a guest of the venue
There is a CHILL in the air around Long Beach as the return of the favorite family holiday event CHILL at the Queen Mary has begun. Families will be immersed into the winter wonderland happening until January 10th.
Begin your experience by ice skating around the large outdoor ice skating rink. The music will be pumping as your family hits the ice and skates with the giant Queen Mary in the background. There are ice skates available for rental, lockers to store your stuff and cute plastic penguins to help younger skaters from falling on the ice.
Next you’ll make your way into the Spruce Goose to see the highlight of CHILL – The Ice Kingdom. Your family will be given fluffy blue jackets and invited to enter the magical world filled with creative ice sculptures in a 9 degree room. Inside of the Ice Kingdom are multiple ice sculptures made with more than 2 million pounds of glittering ice, ice slides and an ice bar for parents visiting without children. We recommend bringing extra jackets, gloves, and hats.
Once you’re done exploring the Magical Ice Kingdom, purchase your souvenir photo before going tubing on The Glacier Glide. There is plenty of hot cocoa and snacks to keep your kids fueled throughout the event and multiple photo opportunities including with the big guy himself – Santa.
End your day by flying high on the giant swing ride from Neverland Ranch, ride on a giant rocking horse, play a round of polar paintball or take a step back in time while exploring the Victorian Village.
Once your family is done creating memorable memories at CHILL, enjoy complimentary admission to The Queen Mary. Your children can explore the historical ship and parents can soak up the beautiful panoramic views of Long Beach.
Hurry…CHILL at The Queen Mary is only here until January 10th. Tickets start at $24.99 (children) and $34.99 (adults) on select dates. Event hours vary by date.
