Chronic Taco Breakfast Taco Recipes
While National Taco Day may have passed, Chronic Tacos is celebrating throughout the month of October by offering double points to all Chronic Tacos loyal customers. They have also been generous to share two of their delicious breakfast taco recipes for your family to enjoy making at home this month.
Gringo Breakfast taco
Ingredients
-2 corn tortillas
-one egg
– 1/4 cup diced potatoes* or pre- cooked breakfast potatoes
-One or two pieces of bacon
Recipe
Scramble one egg, dice the cooked bacon and add to eggs along with breakfast potatoes. Mix into eggs. Heat two corn tortillas and fill with eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Top with your choice of cheese, salsa and if desired, hot sauce. We like Gringo Bandito green pepper sauce.
*Breakfast Potatoes from scratch – Boil cubed potatoes until soft (approx 5mins), then transfer to a frying pan, add a tspn of oil, fry potatoes adding dash of salt and pepper until crispy brown.

Machaca Breakfast Taco
Ingredients
-2 corn tortillas
-one egg
– 1/4 cup diced potatoes or pre cooked breakfast potatoes
-1oz of cooked shredded beef or choice of steak
-1/2 oz of sliced onions
-1/2 oz sliced tomato
To make Machaca filling, sauté onion, beef and tomato for 1 minute then add egg. Scramble the egg. Heat two corn tortillas and fill with eggs and machaca. Top with your choice of cheese, salsa and if desired hot sauce. We like just a dash of our ghost pepper hot sauce.
