Citrus Ranch Park in Tustin
While on our way home from the Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch, we stopped to get an ice cream cone and to play at Citrus Ranch Park in Tustin. We had spotted the park from Jamboree Road while on our way home, and the kids screamed with delight when their eyes first saw the park. I turned the car around, and we got ready to enjoy a fun afternoon at this incredibly fun OC Park.
The park is HUGE! There is a giant parking lot, and plenty of space for kids to play. There is a windy path surrounding the park that is perfect for families to bring their bikes, so don’t leave them at home. Not only is there a fun bike path, but also plenty of grassy area for kids to play ball or run around.
When we first walked into the park, there were nice bathrooms and picnic tables that had a checkers or chess table built into them. There was also a small covered area on the patio and plenty of barbecues for an outdoor family barbecue.
The playground area is divided into two sections. There is a larger section for children of all ages, and a smaller section for younger children. Everything is themed “citrus” hence the name of the park. There are signs with pictures of different types of fruit, and a long bridge that my kids couldn’t stop running across.
There is not a lot of shade near the play area, so bring plenty of sunscreen and water. This park is guaranteed to be a favorite for your family to visit. It is located at 2910 Portola Pkwy, Tustin, CA 92780.
