CVS Health Comes to Target

I’m proud to be working with CVS Pharmacy on the CVS Pharmacy Difference Campaign. All opinions expressed are my own, and all product claims or program details shared should be verified at or with the appropriate manufacturers.

Target in Costa Mesa

Target is quickly becoming a one-stop place for family shopping needs. From Starbucks to optical to prescriptions, it has become one of my favorite places to go shopping. As a CVS customer, when I heard the news that all Target pharmacies were converting to CVS Health Pharmacies, I was over the moon with excitement – one less errand I have to run each week. Now I can do all of my Target shopping, and pick up my prescriptions all in one place.

Target and CVS

The best part is that as a CVS customer, I don’t have to do anything to switch my prescriptions from our usual CVS location to Target. When I went into the new CVS Pharmacy inside of our local Target, they were able to look-up my current prescriptions in their system and order my refill within minutes. While I was waiting for my prescriptions, I was able to do my weekly Target shopping and even pick-up a coffee at Starbucks.

CVS Pharmacy

The pharmacy offers all the same services that families will get at any other CVS Pharmacy location. I was able to get a consultation on my medication from the pharmacist, and she was also able to help me with finding the right over the counter medications that I needed.

Using the CVS Pharmacy in Target

One thing that I didn’t know about CVS until switching to the Target CVS Health Pharmacy location was that there is a CVS app. The staff at the Target CVS Health Pharmacy were so friendly and advised me about the CVS app, and how I can use it to order and track my prescription refills. I was also able to link my ExtraCare card to the app for exclusive deals, coupons, and alerts.

Front of CVS Pharmacy

If your family was used to using a Target clinic, you will still be able to get the same excellent services in the now rebranded MinuteClinic. Plus, they will be opening 20 new clinics in Target stores within the next three years.

Shopping in Target

If you shop at Target, I highly recommend trying the all-new CVS Health Pharmacy. It will make the life of a busy mom easier by being able to pick-up medications while doing weekly Target shopping.
