Dog Days World Premiere

I attended as a guest of the studio

Who doesn’t love dogs? Unless you are a huge cat person, then these cute little (and big) dogs are easy to love and become best friends with. The new film Dog Days is based all on the people of LA and their furry friends. Throughout the movie, you witness the stories of all the diverse people that live in LA have different experiences with their dogs.

Yesterday morning, after awaking at the beautiful LAX Marriott with my Mom and went to Beverly Hills to have the fantastic opportunity to attend the Dog Days premiere where I would get to watch the film with the entire cast (human and dog) and walk down the blue carpet.

When we arrived at the beautiful Westfield Century City where the premiere would take place we received our tickets and walked into the pre-party. Everywhere I looked something really cool was happening. There were dogs that you could play with and pet, along with the making of customizable dog tags for your dogs at home. I immediately went to make dog tag for my beautiful golden retriever who lives at home with my family and me, Daisy. I wrote down her name, and my phone number on a piece of paper picked out the tag I wanted and came back in 20 minutes to see the finished product.

Throughout the entire premiere, I got to chat with some of the cast members of the movie and take pictures with some of my favorite celebrities. It was so much fun talking with everyone and seeing how they enjoyed either watching or creating the film.

I also loved eating some of the fantastic treats they had for us. You could make your own cake pop or create your own candy goodie bag. You could also taste the sliders, hot dogs, grilled cheese, and more that were spread out throughout the party.

My favorite part of the entire party was the fact that they had actual puppies there that you could play with. I went into the puppy pen and met some extremely adorable puppies that I wanted to take home. I got to pet them, play with them, and take cute pictures with them. Not only did they have puppies you could play with, but there were also many famous dogs that attended the premiere, and some of the dogs that were cast in the movie were there to shake paws with.

When the pre-party was over everyone made their way into the theater to watch the new movie. There was popcorn for everyone to snack on while watching all of the lovable dogs on the big screen. Dog Days is out in theaters August 10th, and you are not going to want to miss this comedy of the summer film.
