It’s the last week in March, and Spring Break for some schools in Orange County. The Easter Bunny is coming to Irvine Park Railroad, and Bubblefest is back at the Discovery Science Center along with lots of other fun events happening in Orange County for your family to enjoy this week.

Monday, March 24th

Little ones up to age 3 and their caregivers are invited to come for a 30-minute program featuring songs, stories, rhymes and playtime starting at 10:00 a.m. in the El Toro Library Community Room.

Animal Grossology

Children can have fun learning about animals in this interactive exhibit at the Discovery Science Center. The exhibit will be open daily until April 20th, and is included with the price of admission. Adults are $15.95, children (3-14) $12.95, and parking is $4.

Tuesday, March 25th

Children are invited to enjoy a special story time at your nearest Pottery Barn store at 11am. Children can get a free passport to collect stamps for every story time visit. After collecting five stamps, children will receive a special surprise. The event is free to the public.

The breastfeeding support group at Granola Babies is an inviting, friendly and welcoming group for mothers and mothers-to-be. Children are welcomed and there’s a comfortable sofa for nursing. You’ll receive both education and breastfeeding support for a successful breastfeeding relationship with your child. The event is complimentary and starts at 1pm.

Join Truck Driver Tom on his cross country road trip. Your child will feel like they are on the open road journey with Tom as they learn about different trucks that carry a variety of goods.

3:30p.m. Growing Up Great Game
Share the Road – Your child will get to experience sharing the road as they take to the streets to make deliveries to and from the grocery store. Parents make sure you’ve got your listening ears on for real tips you can use while on the road.

All Day Art Studio – Smart Art
Goods on the Go – This smart art activity will channel your child’s inner truck driver. See what goods they will decide to fill their delivery truck with during this collage activity. Perhaps they will delivery clothing to the mall? Or food to the grocery store?

*AAA of Southern California will be in attendance with more information on road safety including safe driving tips near commercial vehicles and child seat safety. Make sure to bring in your AAA membership card for general admission discount.

Shark Nights

The public is invited to get up close with the ocean’s ultimate predators at the Aquarium of the Pacific for FREE during Shark Lagoon Nights. Guests will have the opportunity to touch bamboo sharks and see large sharks such as sandtigers as well as rays in the Aquarium’s Shark Lagoon. Coffee, hot cocoa, beer, wine, desserts, and snacks are available for purchase.

Storytelling morning at the Bower’s Museum from 10:30am to noon. Children ages 2-6 years old are encouraged to come with an adult to this fun event. The event includes playtime in Kidseum, and camera are encouraged to bring. The event is $10 per child (members), and $12 per child for non-members.
