Preschool Storytime is offered every Tuesday and Friday at 11:00am. Join us for songs, stories, and surprises at one of these two weekly identical storytimes!  Sometimes we do experiments, sometimes we make crafts–There’s always something fun when we get the preschoolers together!  Perfect for ages 2-5.

The City of Rancho Santa Margarita provides a variety of excellent musical performances with the sunset as your backdrop. Concert-goers are encouraged to visit some of RSM’s local restaurants before the concerts and bring a picnic dinner! Concert runs 6:00pm – 8:00pm.

Summer is set with evening fun at the City of Brea’s popular Family Films series. Admission and parking are FREE. Films are shown outdoors on a gigantic screen. Movie runs 8:00pm – 10:00pm. Bring your blankets and low-back beach chairs to the amphitheater for a family night of fun. Arrive early and have a picnic dinner. Movie snacks and food will also be available for purchase. Parking lot located off W Elm St. and Sievers St.

OC Parks is pleased to announce Mason Movie Nights Under the Stars! Please join us for this fun event! Bring a chair or blanket and find a spot on the grass in Mason Park’s beautiful amphitheater. You are welcome to bring your own non-alcoholic beverages, etc. Come a little early to enjoy a free raffle! Reservations are not necessary. Parking will be free after 5:30 p.m. and the movie will begin around sunset (approx. 8:00 p.m.). This is an outdoor event, please dress accordingly. Rain will cancel event.

COME SEE A MOVIE AT OAK CANYON NATURE CENTER! Each evening begins in the amphitheatre with a twilight walk at 7:30pm led by our staff naturalists, followed by our feature presentation at 8:00pm. Blankets or jackets are suggested. Admission is free, but a $5.00 donation per family is suggested. And what would a movie be without the snacks? Visit the Oak Canyon Snack Bar during your movie to get all your movie favorites, including: popcorn, candy, water, and more! All proceeds go directly to the Nature Center.

As the day starts to settle into night, our daytime animals shift over to our nighttime critters.  Come hear fascinating tales of our flying mammal, the bat. We will head out towards a popular roosting location to watch for our nighttime wonders start their night adventures. Please dress warmly as it may be chilly at night. A camping chair is welcome as we will enjoy an extended period of time watching the bats fly about the night. Event runs 8:00pm – 9:30am for ages 6 and up. Register online. Driving directions emailed upon registration.
