Caterina’s Club Exclusive Benefit Cruise Set for October 18-25, 2013

It’s always wonderful to hear about companies giving back to their communities.  Worldview Travel, Southern California’s premier full service travel agency, is joining forces with CNN Hero to raise money for low income children.  Worldwide Travel has partnered with Bruno Serato, owner and chef of Anaheim White House restaurant and founder of Caterina’s Club, to raise money for his philanthropic organization.

The Caterina’s Club Benefit Cruise is scheduled aboard  Oceania Cruises’ newest five-star vessel, Riviera for October 18-25, 2013.  A 7-night trip from Venice to Rome is the highlight of this charity sailing.  Worldview Travel will be the exclusive agency offering this sailing and will be donating up to $500 per stateroom to Caterina’s Club. Bruno Serato will also be hosting intimate dinners on board that will further benefit Caterina’s Club.

“The generosity of my friends and Caterina’s Club members has helped us serve more than half a million meals to underprivileged kids and make a real difference in their lives,” remarks Serato.  “We enjoy a good life and travel well, so I’ve designed a vacation that’s luxurious and enriching and will help give back to the kids even more and help broaden the scope of our work. My ultimate goal is to help kids and their families worldwide.”

Serato was named a CNN Hero in 2011, after starting the nonprofit Caterina’s Club in 2005. His inspiration?  A visit to a Boys and Girls Club with his mother where he saw a seven-year-old boy eating a bag of potato chips for dinner. His mom said ‘you need to feed him pasta.’  Thus, the vision for Caterina’s Club.

Caterina’s Club is based in Orange County, California and serves meals to over 300 low-income children each day at two different Boys and Girls Clubs. They have served almost 500,000 free pasta dinners to date.

This exclusive 7-night “Ionian Passage” charity cruise aboard Riviera and brought to you by Worldview Travel embarks in Rome, Italy and ends in Venice, Italy.  Guests will travel through Greece and Croatia along the way. The base price is $4,049 per person for double occupancy in a Concierge Level Veranda, a 282 ft2 stateroom with a plush seating area and generous amenities.

A generous discount  of 700 off for 2-for-1 fares is offered and includes free air from major U.S. cities. Please contact Patti Carter at Worldview Travel at 714.540.8726 or toll-free at 800.627.8726 for more information.
