“A Christmas Fantasy” Parade
The spirit of the season sparkles bright as the Disneyland holiday parade dashes down Main Street, U.S.A. All of your children’s beloved Disney characters, including Elsa, Anna, and Olaf, will sing and dance to cheerful music. The parade is made complete with Santa saying, “Ho, Ho, Ho” to all the children before taking off in his sleigh to the North Pole. Recommendations: Check the park guide for the daily parade times. We recommend finding a seat at least 30 minutes prior to the parade. One of the best viewing locations is in front of “It’s a Small World” Holiday.

“Believe…In Holiday Magic” Fireworks Show
Your family will cozy up together in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle for the magical nightly fireworks spectacular. The sparkling fireworks show will end with a rare California snow fall over the crowd. Recommendations: We recommend getting a spot in front of the castle at least one hour prior to the show. Bring jackets and a blanket to keep warm on chilly winter evenings.

jamboree

Jingle Jangle Jamboree
Children can whisper into Santa’s ear the special gifts that they desire for Christmas at the Jingle Jangle Jamboree. There are also games, crafts, cookie decorating, petting zoo, and live entertainment. The Jingle Jangle Jamboree is a wonderful place for families to take a break from the crowds and interact with their favorite Disney characters while creating unforgettable memories at the most magical place on earth. Recommendations: Bring your camera to take advantage of the multiple photo opportunities with your favorite characters. There are often 50% shorter lines to have photo opportunities with the characters at the Jingle Jangle Jamboree vs. at different locations throughout the park. Plan on spending at least 1-2 hours with your kids at the Jingle Jangle Jamboree. Once they arrive..they won’t want to leave.

It's a Small World Holiday

“It’s a Small World” Holiday
Your family will want to visit “It’s a Small World” Holiday both in the daytime and the evening when the front of the ride is adorned with over 300,000 lights. Sing-a-long to festive music while floating around the world celebrating holidays from every country. Recommendations: This is one of the most popular rides at the Disneyland Park. When first arriving at Disneyland Park, I recommend going on this ride first to avoid the long lines.

jingle cruise

Jingle Cruise
The classic Jungle Cruise has been transformed into the “Jingle Cruise” for the holidays. All of the boats are named with different holiday names, and the skipper will take your family on the ultimate holiday adventure through the jungles of Disneyland. Recommendations: Take a seat on the right side of the boat for the best photo opportunities are beware of the fruit cake eating hippos.

HauntedMansionHoliday

Haunted Mansion Holiday
The Haunted Mansion Holiday is themed after the popular Tim Burton film “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” Get up close with Jack Skellington, Oogie Boogie and all your favorite characters from the film on this interactive ride. Recommendations: The ride is dark and has playful ghosts so keep this in mind when planning a ride with younger children.
