Things to do in Orange County for OC Moms

Family Safety Fair

I recently wrote about the attempted kidnapping that happening in Aliso Viejo this week. For those parents wanting to learn more about teaching their children about safety, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department is hosting a Family Safety Fair for families in Rancho Santa Margarita this weekend.

The Orange County Sheriff’s department is partnering with the National Center for Mission and Exploited Children with their “Take 25 Initiative.” What is Take 25? They are encouraging parents and caregivers to take 25 minutes to talk to their children about safety. Every thirty minutes at the event, there will be a presentation to help educate parents on the stage.

When: Saturday, May 25th from 11am to 2pm

Where: Central Park in Rancho Santa Margarita (22112 El Paseo)

Chik-Fil-A will be serving lunch, and the Screamin Ice Cream Truck will be selling ice cream and novelties.
