Family Steampunk Carnivale (Giveaway)

Steampunk-Carnival

Is your family ready to go on an adventure back in time? The Orange Empire Railway Museum is hosting a weekend full of history and education with their Family Steampunk Carnivale on March 15th through the 16th in Perris.

The event pays homage to the Victorian Era, Edwardian science fiction and the Industrial Revolution with a real, live steam-powered locomotive being the perfect backdrop.

Kids will love this retro-futuristic world of cogs and gears and all things steam. Also, there will be old-fashioned carnival and lawn games: ring toss, fishing, ball games, jacks, marbles, and more.

Ride behind the Orange Empire’s Iron Horse and hop on vintage street cars and trolleys at the all-day weekend event. Enjoy delicious eats and treats on the museum grounds and experience the Victorian Era tradition of High Tea. Participate in Victoriana fashion shows and costume contests for the splendidly attired Steampunks. Enjoy the wild beats of the band, Poplock Holmes.

A turn-of-the century steam-powered car will be on display on Saturday only.

Admission to this all-day event is $15.00 for ages 12 and up, $10.00 ages 5 – 11, ages 4 and under are free. (There is an extra fee for High Tea.)

Get a $2 discount on Steampunk Carnivale tickets before March 10 by calling (951) 943-3020. Check the website for latest updates on the event http://www.oerm.org/iron-horse-family-steampunk-carnivale
