Feijoa Salsa Recipe

Have you ever tried a Feijoa before? It is one of my all-time favorites and very hard to find in stores. I always go to Melissa’s Produce for all my favorite fruits and vegetables because they always have what I crave when it is in season.

Feijoa is very similar to a starfruit with the perfect amount of sweetness. Since I have company this weekend, I decided to surprise them with my favorite feijoa recipe and see if they could distinguish between regular salsa and this delicious sweet salsa. I also used my favorite olive oil, Garcia de la Cruz, when preparing the salsa and plated it on my beautiful Tuxton Home dishes.

I promise that this will be your favorite salsa of all time. If only we could get Feijoa all year long, but now is the time to take advantage of this delicious gem typically found in South America.
