Five of the Best Mother’s Day Movies

Sponsored

One of the best gifts that we can give ourselves as moms is some time alone. One of my favorite things to do to help unwind from the stresses of parenting is to cuddle up in my bed with a good movie. Ever since I started using Movies Anywhere earlier this year, I have discovered so many good movies, and I have been able to merge all of my online movies to the one platform.

With Movies Anywhere, you can watch the movies from virtually anywhere using your computer or smartphone. These are five of the best Mother’s Day movies available on Movies Anywhere:

Bad Moms
Amy has a seemingly perfect life – a great marriage, over-achieving kids, beautiful home and a career. However she’s over-worked, over-committed and exhausted to the point that she’s about to snap. Fed up, she joins forces with two other over-stressed moms on a quest to liberate themselves from conventional responsibilities – going on a wild, un-mom-like binge of long overdue freedom, fun and self-indulgence – putting them on a collision course with PTA Queen Bee Gwendolyn and her clique of devoted perfect moms.

Mamma Mia
Sophie has just one wish to make her wedding perfect: to have her father walk her down the aisle. Now she just has to find out who he is… Join the music, laughter and fun of the irresistibly charming Mamma Mia! The Movie. Meryl Streep leads an all-star cast, including Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth – as well as up-and comers Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper, in this musical celebration of mothers, daughters and fathers, and true loves lost and new ones found. Based on the Broadway smash-hit and filled with the ABBA songs you know and love, it’s the feel-good experience that will have you singing and dancing over and over again.

Joy
Jennifer Lawrence stars in David O. Russell’s wild story of a family across four generations as Joy, a young woman who builds a business dynasty and becomes a matriarch. Allies become adversaries and adversaries become allies as Joy’s inner life and fierce imagination carry her through a world of unforgiving commerce in this emotional, human comedy also starring Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro.

Mona Lisa Smile
Mona Lisa Smile is a funny, inspiring and uplifting film about an art history professor with a lot to teach about life and much to learn about romance.

The Help
The #1 New York Times bestseller by Kathryn Stockett comes to vivid life through the powerful performances of a phenomenal ensemble cast. Led by Emma Stone, Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer and Bryce Dallas Howard, The Help is an inspirational, courageous and empowering story about very different, extraordinary women in the 1960s South who build an unlikely friendship around a secret writing project — one that breaks society’s rules and puts them all at risk. Filled with poignancy, humor and hope, The Help is a timeless, universal and triumphant story about the ability to create change.
