Five Must-Have Foods at Knott’s Boysenberry Festival
We attended a preview of the Knott’s Boysenberry Festival
It is the most delicious time of the year to visit Knott’s Berry Farm for their yearly Boysenberry Festival. The event is a favorite of my family, with the food being the best part. This year is better than ever with more delicious boysenberry food than ever, and these are our top picks!
My absolute favorite food this year is the boysenberry elote. The tasty corn is located at the Ghost Town Bank Stand, and I guarantee that you can’t just eat one. I may or may not be guilty of coming back for seconds.
For those who are looking to eat healthier at Knott’s while attending the boysenberry festival will want to dine at Spurs Chophouse. The highly-acclaimed restaurant is featuring a boysenberry glazed salmon over mixed greens. Also, it comes with a rich boysenberry vinaigrette. It is light, flavorful, and a must-have when visiting Knott’s.
If you’re in the mood for an epicurean adventure, you’ll not want to miss having the two-foot hotdog on a boysenberry bun. The hot dog is large enough for 3-4 people to share and can be found at the Fiesta Dog and Broiler. If you’re up for a foodie challenge…see if you can eat one all by yourself!
The meat lovers will savor every bite of the boysenberry flank steak with boysenberry cream cheese. The meat is cooked to perfection, and the boysenberry cream cheese made me feel like I was eating meat for the first time. You can find this tasty dish at Sutter’s Stand.
Finally, there is the boysenberry chili in a boysenberry sourdough bowl. You haven’t quite experienced chili before trying this warm dish. Get a taste of it and the flank steak at Sutter’s Stand.
You can’t visit the Knott’s Boysenberry Festival with sipping boysenberry wine, a boysenberry cosmopolitan or a boysenberry margarita. And, what would a visit be without dessert? Savor the sweet goodness of a Boysenberry Stuffed Churro, enjoy the famous fun bun or have a Boysenberry Cheesecake on a Stick.
Save on your boysenberry culinary adventure by purchasing a tasting card. The tasting card is $35 and includes a taste of 8 different foods with 14 options. Also, there is the wine and craft brew tasting card available for $30.
