Netflix has recently released a new series geared towards tween girls called Project Mc2. I have watched all of the current episodes with my daughter and have found it to be one of the best series ever created for her age group. The series encourages girls to feel proud of being smart and is filled with many great messages that young girls can take away from after watching an episode.
Confidence
Most girls think there is one or the other, Being cool or being smart. With this show, girls will learn that being smart is beautiful. The girls in the show will take on any challenge that they put their mind too, and do it with confidence.
Teamwork
The four girls in the series all work together to complete the missions they are assigned. They complete missions and learn that without having one another, they are not the same. Each girl is special, and they come together to prove that they work better with all of their smarts.
Friendship
The girl in the series is all about friendship. They stick together to achieve big things. They do have their doubts at times, but when they come together, they realize that each of them are different, and learn to respect that.
Inspiration
I know my daughter wanted to try a new science project, and felt like she had the power to change the world after watching this show. The girls in this show all have a different type smart, and after watching this show it makes you want to show you to show your inner smarts.
Loyalty
All the girls in Project Mc2 are loyal to each other. They always have each others backs even when they are not having a good time. Each of them never gives up on the other.
Whether your daughter is bodily kinesthetic, naturalist, musical, intrapersonal, interpersonal, linguistic, logical-mathematical, or spatial, she’ll find that she is smart no matter what multiple intelligence she possesses.
thumbs up, my daughter loved it.
I’ve never heard of this series. We don’t have Netflix either, but I’m thinking a trial just to see this would be worth it! Thanks for the heads up!
