Founders Park in Ladera Ranch
Around every corner is another fun orange county park in Ladera Ranch. Last week, we went to visit Founders Park in Ladera Ranch, and it was a great park to spend the afternoon. There was lots of green grass, for my son to kick the ball, benches for us to eat a snack, and plenty of shade.
Where is it located? The park is located at 28275 Avendale Boulevard, right off of Antonio. There is a large amount of parking, and lots of covered picnic tables with barbecues. One of my favorite features of this park is the nice (and clean) public bathroom.
The park features a medium size climbing structure with a swing set. There are some small rockers for the kids to play on, and lots of sand for sand toy play. What my son loved the most about this park was the “mini elliptical.” He played on it for at least an hour!
I would recommend bringing your lunch, some balls and sand toys when visiting this park. It is the perfect place for a weekend birthday party, or to get the family together for a game of soccer. Bring lots of water and sunscreen, it can get hot quickly in Ladera Ranch.
