Free Common Sense Parenting Classes for Parents and Caregivers

boys town cali parenting classesBoys Toys California recently received funding from Orange County to provide parents and caregivers in Orange County with free parenting classes.  These Common Sense Parenting® workshops will help parents and caregivers use their existing skills and also learn news strategies for dealing with their children’s behaviors.

These parenting classes from Boys Town California are a wonderful resource for Orange County residents.  Common Sense Parenting classes are offered for free to parents or caregivers who have children between the ages of 13 to 18 who reside in Orange County.  The
class content incorporates research-proven methods that parents can  apply at home to reinforce and nurture healthy relationships within their family.

Community support groups and peer mentoring are also available at no cost to families that reside in Orange County.  These supportive environments help people feel connected as they share their experiences and develop new techniques for handling situations within their family.  Family matching services are also provided and focus on creating peer-to-peer relationships between families with a member struggling with mental or behavioral health issues.
