GIVEAWAY: Four tickets to go whale watching at Dana Wharf
In preparation for the upcoming Dana Point Festival of Whales OC Mom Blog is excited to be giving away four free tickets to go whale watching at Dana Wharf.
Grey Whale season is here and will run through the end of April. Each winter, after spending the summer feeding in the food-rich waters of the arctic, and as the northern ice pushes southward, small groups of Gray Whales start their 9,900–14,000 mile journey (the longest migration of any mammal). The Grays swim south along the coast to the bays of Baja California, where they give birth to their calves. Last season there were 492 Gray Whales. Whale watching is a great educational opportunity for children!
Enter today to win and don’t forget that there is FREE shuttle service to the Festival of Whales as well as an exciting street fair, classic cars, a pancake breakfast, mammal lectures, book signings, stand up paddling clinics, art in the park and more.

It would be an honor to give the tickets to my neighbors as they are senior citizens.
What an awesome prize! I am even more excited to join in the celebration of the lives of such amazing and wonderful creatures! My son was born October 8, 2012 and I hope that with conservation efforts, he will be able to gaze upon them, and other sea life, with his children.
