Hoag Hospital Irvine

As moms and parents, we take care of our little ones…nurturing them and providing everything we can for their growth and development.  Our parents did the same for us…

sadly there comes a day when life comes full circle and we need to care for OUR parents.  Heart issues become more common as we age and we need to know where to go in Orange County for this important care.

Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian has announced that its Irvine hospital can now can receive emergency cardiac patients.  The county awarded this very elite status after a thorough and tough review process.

The Cardiac Receiving Center (CVRC) status means that Hoag Hospital Irvine now is one of only 13 hospitals in Orange County, including Hoag Hospital Newport Beach, that can directly receive patients via ambulance who are suffering a heart attack and need immediate attention.

Prior to July 1, patients in the Irvine area would have been rerouted to other hospitals with this CVRC designation.  Hoag Hospital Irvine’s designation as a Cardiovascular Receiving Center is effective for one year through  June 30, 2014.
