Indian Mango Lassi Recipe
Our sweet tween neighbor Raneem is one of the most talented young cooks I have met, and my daughter and I have a blast cooking with her. This week, she shared her delicious Indian Mango Lassi drink with our family, and was so generous enough to share her recipe with all of you. This refreshing drink is easy to make, and your kids will love every sip of this sweet treat.
Indian Mango Lassi Recipe
Ingredients:
- 15 ounces mango pulp [half the can]
- you can find mango pulp at international stores
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups plain yoghurt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Directions:
In a blender, combine mango pulp, milk and yoghurt. Blend at medium.
Stop and stir in sugar, pulse, then pour in pitcher. If you’re serving a lot of people, repeat the recipe using the other half of the can. If not, refrigerate the pulp and use in the next 2 days. Top the drink with a couple of drops of mango pulp, and serve with a fun colorful straw. Enjoy your Indian mango lassi!{serve cold}
