Journey to a Galaxy Far, Far Away in Solo: A Star Wars Story

I attended a screening as a guest of Disney

Growing up, I was a super girly girl. But there was one thing that this girly girl loved as a child, and that was watching Star Wars with her daddy. Star Wars was a big part of my childhood, just like most of my generation. When I found out that LucasFilm would continue to make Star Wars movies, I was worried that they would not be as good as the classics.

I go into seeing every film with an open mind, and I honestly didn’t know what to expect before seeing Solo: A Star Wars Story, and the film blew my mind. The movie was full of adventure, heart, and is true storytelling at its best.

The one thing that I loved most about Solo: A Star Wars Story is that there was barely any violence, making it a movie for children and adults of all ages to enjoy. It had me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire film and was an incredibly immersive experience. I felt like I was in the movie experiencing the story. I genuinely feel that Solo: A Star Wars Story is the best Star Wars film that has been made in this generation.

My favorite part in Solo: A Star Wars story is that we got to see how Han Solo and Chewbacca meet for the first time. Chewbacca has always been my favorite Star Wars character and seeing the story told for the first time of how the two became friends was by far my favorite part of the film, and I can’t wait for all of you to see it too.

The movie takes viewers on an epic journey through space on the Millennium Falcon. I can’t share any spoilers, but you just have to trust me that you’ll love the thrill of every twist and turn that the adventurous story will take you on. After watching the film, I wanted to stand up and applaud, because it is a film that has been created which truly deserves a standing ovation.

Your family is going to fall in love with Solo: A Star Wars story in theaters on May 25th. Learn more about Solo: A Star Wars Story online, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
