Keeping Kids Learning While Traveling with the LeapPad3

With our family always traveling, I am often asked how I keep my kids learning while they are not in school. We are lucky to be a part of a charter school that offers Independent Study for families who travel, and I also use vital learning tools including LeapFrog products.
Why LeapFrog? They make learning fun while encouraging my kids to continue learning outside of their educational lessons. When traveling earlier this month to the Turks and Caicos, we brought along the new LeapPad3 for my younger son Tyler. It ended up being his #1 favorite LeapFrog product, and he didn’t want to put it down.
With a 14-hour flight that had multiple long airport layovers, Tyler got acquainted with the product. Within moments, he was on his way to learning new things through fun and interactive games. He was practicing his ABC’s, learning how to tell time all while talking photos/videos to document his travels.
Every night, Tyler would spend an hour working on his LeapPad3. We would hear him in his room vlogging on the LeapPad3 about his day and singing along to the fun songs built into the device.
While traveling there were other children at the resort who had also brought along their LeapPad3 products, and they came together to exchange user names on the PetChat app. They would all come together and play in the virtual world during the trip, helping them to make long lasting friendships. Tyler was able to find out that some of his friends he met on the trip were on the same plane as us coming home when his friends started to meet-up with him in the PetChat app.
The LeapPad3 is a great addition to your children’s educational learning tools. While nothing is better than parents and teachers educating their children, the LeapPad3 is a great tool for children to expand on the lessons taught from their parents and teachers.
The LeapPad3 is currently available in stores and will make a perfect holiday gift for your children.
