Kid-Friendly Turkey Burger Recipe

I love to cook. I love good food. That is why trying to lose weight has always been a challenge for me. I kicked off the New Year by committing to making healthier eating choices while still getting to enjoy my love for food. Instead of eliminating my favorite foods, I am just finding healthier ways to prepare them like with this grilled turkey burger recipe. I was able to substitute ground turkey for ground beef, and cut down the caloric intake of this meal. By changing my recipes instead of eliminating them, it has helped me to be successful with obtaining my goals.

Lettuce, tomatoes and purple onions

1. Break the ground turkey into small pieces in a bowl and add the ricotta, Worcestershire, mustard, salt and pepper. Using your hands, mix until well combined.

  1. Great recipe! I make turkey burgers and turkey meatball exclusively in my home but one tip my Japanese hubby told was to add lots of grilled onions to the mix for extra flavor! They love it everytime! But I’m going to try to ricotta cheese next time.
