Kids Eat Free at The House of Blues

We dined as a guest of the venue

Whenever I hear the name House of Blues I think rock n roll, amazing venue, and their world famous Gospel Brunch. Well let me tell you House of Blues is so much more. Since moving to the Garden Walk in Anaheim, House of Blues has doubled in size giving them chance to expand their venue but also their kitchen. First of all they have an amazing happy hour Monday – Friday, 3PM-6PM as well as lunch specials starting at $9. So what is the inspiration behind their mouthwatering meals? Good old southern cooking.

Their menu includes iconic dishes such as New Orleans jambalaya and gumbo, shrimp and grits, country fried steak, Memphis-style baby back ribs, and Delta fried chicken, as well as great burgers, flatbreads, and salads. So what’s my favorite? Their Impossible Cheeseburger which is 100% vegan and I’m not even vegan. The burger is packed with flavor and doesn’t leave you feeling like you’ve had too much to eat and need to be rolled out.

I know what you’re thinking, what about the kids. Not only does House of Blues have what our kids love most( pizza, crispy chicken tender, mini cheeseburgers, the best tasting mac & cheese, as well as hot dogs and grill cheese) but also kids eat free 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. That’s right you read it right kids under the age of 12 eat free with a purchase of an adult entrée on a weekend! Now restrictions do apply so be sure to call ahead and confirm.

House of Blues is located at 400 W. Disney Way, Suite 337 in the city of Anaheim. For more information call them at 714-778-2538 or go to www.houseofblues.com/anaheim.
