LA Angels Meet and Greet at OC Zoo

Hank Conger of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim will visit the OC Zoo on September 7th at 10am. Families can visit the zoo for free during the Los Angels Meet and Greet. Angels catcher, Hank Conger, will make a special appearance at the zoo, and will participate in a special animal presentation.

Families can meet Conger, learn about his career, take photos with him, and more. Only the first 100 people who attend the event will be guaranteed a spot at the animal presentation, so we recommend arriving early. After enjoying this special event at the OC Zoo, families can get half price rides on the Irvine Park Railroad train.

Conger is from Huntington Beach, California and was drafted 25th overall by the Angels in the 2006 Major League Baseball Draft directly out of high school. He was selected to represent the United States in the 2010 All-Star Future Game and hit a three-run home run, earning him MVP honors. He made his major league debut in 2010.

Time: The OC Zoo opens at 10am. Presentation begins at 11am, and ends at 12:30pm
