Mickey and the Magical Map Brings the Fantasyland Theatre To Life
Mickey Mouse and some of our favorite Disney characters bring the Fantasyland Theatre to life with “Mickey and the Magical Map.” The magical show is scheduled to perform in the newly re-designed theatre five times daily. The show features some of Disney’s most beloved characters from “The Jungle Book,” “Pocahontas,” “Mulan,” “Rapunzel,” “The Princess and The Frog” and “The Little Mermaid.”
The Fantasyland Theatre showed Disney cartoons from 1955 to 1964, and then debuted Videopolis in 1985. Then in 1995 “The Spirit of Pochahontas” and “Animazement – The Musical” performed for three years before becoming a place for guests to interact with their favorite Disney Princesses. The theatre was under construction for two years in preparation for the new magical spectacular “Mickey and the Magical Map.”
Entertainment and storytelling are at the heart of Disneyland, and this production brings storytelling to life. Mickey gets a little mischievous when he learns about the apprentice’s magical powers. Mickey Mouse, the sorcerer’s apprentice, gets swept into a magical world when chasing after a playful drop of paint.
The show features an interactive screen and thrilling music as Mickey goes on a magical journey into the different worlds of many beloved Disney characters. The theatrical performance is one of the most thrilling productions that will delight guests visiting Disneyland.
Mickey and the Magical Map will be playing daily in the Fantasyland Theatre throughout the summer.
