Moms, Aunties, Sisters, Glam-mas…look no further, Hatched Baby has arrived!

As an auntie and big cousin to my family and friends kiddies, I’m always on the hunt for fashionable threads. Being in the fashion industry, the bar with my gift buying has been set high! I’ve noticed many selections for infant and toddler girls wear, but there’s been a lack of great boys wear. The demand is high and it’s nice to find a great source in our own backyard. When I discovered Hatched Baby, I was amazed by the multitude of cute looks, hip blogs and the overall conception of this unique brand.

One Saturday morning at “The Land of Nod”, a South Coast Plaza boutique, I stepped into a pop up shop of magical teepees, soft fabrics with kitschy designs and to the bubbly and very pregnant Jen Turner, owner and founder of Hatched Baby. Jen was warm, welcoming and proud of her brand. She shared with me her desire to continue her strong work ethic and passion for being a modern working mommy while giving back to her community and guiding fellow mommies on baby health best practices, yummy & nutritional recipes, fun kid activities and above all, a destination for dressing your mini me’s in the latest fashions at moderate prices.

My close friends, the Aldingers, we’re about to have their first little boy and I spotted the cutest black trucker hat that was screen printed “Dude”. I didn’t even know they made trucker hats for infants and being a surf family, it was the perfect gift!

All day, the pop up shop was filled with mom’s and dad’s of all ages with little ones. Hatched Baby had even set-up a yummy dessert bar and arts & crafts tables where the kids we’re able to learn how to make homemade pinwheels. Yours truly even joined three darling little girls at a 2’ tall table! I thought I’d be the teacher, but quickly found myself following the instructions of a four year old, boy did she know her pinwheels!

Today, I’m only a mommy to my orange tabby cat, Waffle Downing, but one day my husband and I will hatch our own baby and I’m looking forward to the day I can buy more than just an infant trucker hat! I now have the best source for my nieces, nephews and cousins for adorable, hip infant and toddler styles. Hatched Baby is my one and only destination!
