New Family Hotspot: Hotel Irvine’s Backyard

We visited as a guest of the venue

Over the years, I have fallen in love with Hotel Irvine. It is a great place for families to have a staycation or dinner at their popular EATs Kitchen & Bar. Last weekend I brought the family to Hotel Irvine for their wine harvest festival in the backyard and found the venue to be a great hotspot in Orange County for families to spend an afternoon.

When we arrived at the event, valet parking was complimentary – a great feature for families visiting the resort for the day. We gave the keys for our Kia Sorento to the valet, and then walked through the lobby and out into their backyard to discover a beautiful venue to spend the day. The event featured multiple booths where adults could taste wines, live music, and delicious cuisine. There were fresh salads, meats, and seafood being served throughout the event.

For the children, there were lawn games and an interactive petting zoo. During the event, my husband and I enjoyed each others company at one of the private tables while our children played with the lawn games. I had originally thought that we would just stay for about an hour, but we ended up staying for the entire four hours! We laughed, we played, and we created special memories together that will last a lifetime.

Hotel Irvine has plans to host many more events just like the one we attended, and they already have their October event planned, The Backyard Oktoberfest. The event will happen on Sunday, October 29th from 11 am to 4 pm, and we can’t wait to attend. Don’t miss this fun family event!
