Most moms will attest that when we are leaving our kids in the care of someone, that we want our kids to have fun, be cared for in a safe and clean environment with responsible and respectful caregivers. To find all of that is sometimes a huge challenge, but I think I managed to find the impossible, and they even managed to accommodate our special needs of autism.

Kids World at Renaissance ClubSport Aliso Viejo is the place. They have the ability, safety and facilities to care for children of every age and ability. There is a nursery for infants and babies. A toddler zone for the mobile bunch, pre-school area – WITH CURRICULUM, an outdoor play structure and equipment to play on in an enclosed safe environment. There is also an area for the elementary school kids which have video games, sofas, air hockey, foosball and a homework area. I mean what more could a parent or child ask for?

It is kid heaven, and it gives moms and dads the comfort to know the children are in an aesthetically beautiful, clean environment. The pre-schoolers have a curriculum, so they are even getting some intellectual stimulation. I’ve been to other gyms and facilities where the kids are just plopped in front of a video or left with old broken toys to play with.

With a membership at Renaissance ClubSport Aliso Viejo, 3 hours a day of Kids World is included. Kids World Hours are 7am – 9pm M-F, and 8am – 8pm on Weekends, and one weekend a month they are open late for a Parent Escape night for a nominal fee. Kids World is the perfect place for parents to get a break every day, or even on days when we just need it.

I know as moms, and we are never supposed to say we need to take a time out from our kids, but sometimes that is a reality. Moms can drop off the babies and get an amazing fitness class in, or a great lunch with friends at Citrus Cafe, or sit by the pool. I’ve even gone there to shower in peace, yes I’ll admit I dropped my kids off for an hour so I could shower!

I can’t say enough about the facility, and the staff. My older nonverbal son has had a challenge in day care facilities, and I was able to leave him there, and see that staff was tending to him, interacting with him and trying to engage him. I can’t say enough about how that just gave me the best feeling ever as a mom of a special needs kid.

I could rave about Renaissance all day long. I love our membership, the shape I’m getting in, and would extend to you a free pass. Just go to the front desk and tell them you were referred by OC Mom Blog, and you can enjoy a one-day complimentary pass to see how wonderful the facilities are at the Renaissance Club Sport Aliso Viejo.
