The OC Rescue Mission: Donation Needs for Christmas in July

The Orange County Rescue Mission has announced a critical need for personal care items for the more than 260 men, women and children currently residing at its various campuses and the Village of Hope, the Rescue Mission’s transitional living facility.

“Christmas in July,” which is an annual event, will be held on Friday, July 24 and will consist of a celebration that aims to bring the hope of the holidays to resident families living at the Rescue Mission.

The Christmas in July event will feature winter-themed games, crafts and other fun activities. In addition to these activities, residents will be provided meals by the Tustin District Chick-fil-A.

Donations Needed

Diapers (toddler sizes 4, 5, 6, 7)
Baby food and formula
Canned protein (tuna, chicken, ham, sausage)
Canned beans (kidney, pinto)
Canned spaghetti sauce and soup
Disinfectant spray and wipes
70% isopropyl rubbing alcohol

Donations can be dropped off at the Rescue Mission’s Village of Hope from now through Friday, July 24. Items can also be ordered online and delivered directly to Orange County Rescue Mission, 1 Hope Drive, Tustin, CA 92782.
