OC Rescue Mission: Urgent Need for Personal Care Item Donations

The Orange County Rescue Mission has announced a critical need for personal care items for the families residing at the Village of Hope, the Rescue Mission’s transitional living facility.
Donated items will be shared during the Rescue Mission’s “Christmas in July” event on Friday, July 27. The organization hosts this event annually with a two-fold purpose: providing resident families a second chance at a holiday celebration, and reminding the community that there is a need for donations all year round.

Urgently needed donation items include:
Laundry detergent
Deodorant (male and female)
Razors (male and female)
Shaving cream (male and female)

Donations can be dropped off at the Chick-fil-A restaurant at The District in Tustin, the Tustin Auto Center, or the Rescue Mission’s Village of Hope, from now through Friday, July 27.
Donated goods will be distributed at the Christmas in July celebration, which will offer Village of Hope residents festive food, winter-themed games including a special “snowball” fight, and other fun activities.

The Village of Hope is located at 1 Hope Drive in Tustin, CA 92782. The Tustin Auto Center is located at Auto Center Drive in Tustin, CA 92782. The Chick-fil-A restaurant is located at 2889 Park Avenue in Tustin, CA 92782.
