Anaheim’s newest restaurant addition Calaca Mamas Cantina is the perfect place to celebrate Dad this Father’s Day. The Mexican eatery, which features a lively ambiance inspired by day-of-the-dead festivities, will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and features a menu of Mexican favorites (with a twist) including the ‘Frito Bandito’ (large flour tortilla wrapped around chicken tinga and carne asada, red rice and frijoles charra, lettuce, pico de gallo, chihuahua cheese, crema, guacamole and Fritos corn chips topped with queso blanco), ‘Camarones al Ajo’ (jumbo shrimp, olive oil, poblano chiles, tomato, garlic, lime and cilantro), and desserts FIT FOR A KING! Presented in a tabletop cart, and featuring a sparkler, the Homemade Churros are tossed in cinnamon sugar and served with chocolate sauce, and dulce de leche. Drink pairings include ‘Arriba! To help celebrate fathers and role models, the iconic cliffside restaurant will offer a 4-course prix fixe Father’s Day Brunch from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. ($85 per person). The popular Baja-inspired restaurant will offer a Father’s Day Brunch on Sunday, June 19, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. for $40 per person. Guests can select one antojito (serves two people), one entrée, and one dessert (serves two people). Brunch highlights include Grilled Corn Elote, Kobe Steak & Eggs, SOL Chilaquiles Verde, Deep-Fried Ice Cream, and new Mimosa & Beer Buckets.

Solita Tacos

With Solita’s casual and fun atmosphere inspired by Southern California’s laid-back lifestyle, guests get to enjoy unique wood-grilled tacos, one-of-a-kind margaritas, and a curated selection of tequila and mezcals. For Father’s Day weekend, Solita will be offering its classic Weekend Brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Brunch highlights include Huevos Rancheros, Machaca & Eggs, Warm Cinnamon Berry Bread Pudding, Solita’s Bloody Mary, and Casamigos Reposado Paloma.

Black Angus Steakhouse

With over 30 locations in CA, WA, AZ, and HI, Black Angus Steakhouse has been mastering their craft since 1964, specializing in sharing comforting, wholesome meals that everyone can enjoy. For Father’s Day, Black Angus is opening all locations at 11 a.m. and offering a special menu with limited-time specials such as the Prime Rib and Lobster Tail, including slow roasted prime rib paired with cold-water Atlantic lobster tails (8 oz & Lob – $36.99; 12 oz & Lob -$41.99; 16 oz & Lob – $46.99; 24 oz & Lob – $56.99). Guests will also find fan favorites such as ribeye steaks, Classic Sidekicks, and signature cocktails on the holiday menu. For drinks, guests should not skip the featured Father’s Day drink, the BullsEye Brew, a Red Ale specifically brewed for by Los Angeles-based Golden Road Brewing for Black Angus. Puesto

Puesto has Father’s Day handled with Pints for Papa, a complimentary beer for all Dads dining at any of its four Orange County locations on Sunday, June 19. Dad can select his choice of Puesto cerveza, all brewed at the Puesto Cervecería in Mission Valley, San Diego by veteran Brewmaster Doug Hasker. Offerings include:

PUESTO CLARA – A traditional Mexican-style light lager with crisp malt flavor, hints of corn, and pleasant bitterness from noble hops. A clean and refreshing beer. 4.6% abv.

PUESTO NEGRA (Great American Beer Festival Silver Medalist) – A smooth, dark Mexican-style lager. Roasted malts make for a beer rich in flavor, yet light in texture, with a balanced finish. 5.3% abv.

PUESTO CELEBRATION CERVEZA – Brewed in celebration of our 10 year anniversary, a true traditional Mexican Vienna-style lager, copper in color with toasty, biscuity characteristics and mildly hopped. 5.6% abv.

PUESTO IPA (ROTATING) – A rotating hoppy ale using assorted hop and malt varieties. 5.5% – 8% abv.
