Pandas IMAX Movie Premiere

We visited as a guest of the studio

I have grown to love driving to Los Angeles to see a new movie debut and its stunning premiere. It has become a tradition for my mom and me to pick out dresses together and spend the day getting dressed up, so when my mom told me that we were invited to the Pandas IMAX movie premiere, I was so excited.

When she advised me that this premiere was for a new movie all about the lives of pandas in the wild, I was over the moon with excitement. I’m not sure if anyone knows this about me, but cute, cuddly pandas are one of my favorite animals. So when I found that we were going to the premiere of a Pandas IMAX movie I was beyond happy.

My mom and I both thought it would be good to wear black with a little bit of color to the premiere because after all, it was a movie about pandas. When we showed up to the premiere, they had a bunch of yummy treats that were all panda-themed including, cookies, Oreos, gumballs, and so many more. They also had my favorite hot dog on a stick booth and an assortment of delicious food trucks which I spent almost all my time enjoying their savory bites.

But when we weren’t getting some delicious panda-themed treats, we were interviewing some fantastic celebrities including, Kristen Bell (my all-time fav), Ben Kilham, and Jacob Owens. Talking to some of the bear experts, I actually learned a lot about the nature of pandas and bears. I really enjoyed talking with Ben Kilham because he told us some really cool things about raising orphaned wild animals and how attached you can become to them.

I was already excited about the movie walking into the theater, so when we found some seats, we sat down and excitedly waited for the little panda bears to show up on screen. When they did, I don’t think there was one person in the audience who didn’t “awww” at the sight of them. The movie taught us all about one panda and the mission they had to release her back into the wild. They eventually were able to succeed, but it took a few trails and errors.

Pandas IMAX is currently playing at the California Science Center, so please don’t miss out on seeing the playful movie with or without your kids. You actually walk out with a thing or two about pandas and their nature, and you walk out with the feeling of cuteness inside of you from seeing all those adorable baby pandas.

Pandas is family friendly and has a running time of 45 minutes.
