Pasadena Neon Retro Arcade

We visited as a guest of the venue

While on a weekend staycation in Pasadena, I surprised the kids with a visit to the neon retro arcade after having dinner at The Luggage Room. The neon arcade is an old fashioned arcade that features many classic video games along with some newer games; Pac Man, Donkey Kong, Fix it Felix Jr and more!

When we arrived at the arcade, my kids squealed with delight. Most of the games in the arcade they had never heard of before, and I had a blast introducing them to some of the best video games ever created.

The arcade is small, so parents don’t have to worry about losing their kids, and the walls illuminate with neon colors at night. The entire arcade is set-up just like arcades looked like when I was a kid.

The best part of the arcade is that we didn’t have to worry about quarters or refilling gaming cards because everything is included in the hourly price. I purchased the kids an hour of play which ended up being the perfect amount of time for the kids to enjoy playing the different video games in the arcade.

Once the kids were done playing at the arcade, we made the short walk back to the Courtyard by Marriott where we were staying the night and had a short night swim before going to bed. When planning a trip to Pasadena with your family, the neon arcade is a must stop for families. It will be a fun blast from the past to share with your kids.

The neon retro arcade is located at 28 S Raymond Ave, Pasadena, CA 91105. The cost is $10 per hour or $25 per day.
