About the Philharmonic Society of Orange County

The mission of the Philharmonic Society of Orange County is to foster an appreciation for music by presenting national and international performances of the highest quality while also providing dynamic and innovative music education programs for individuals of all ages.

Professor Planethead's Symphonic Space Adventure

Hear the Orange County Youth Symphony perform music from Holst’s The Planets and raise your lightsabers as you hear “The Imperial March” from Star Wars.

This concert will transport your imagination to a galaxy far, far away! (Approx. run time 45 mins)

Pre-concert Activities

Philharmonic Society children's show

Check out the lobby prior to the performance for hands-on activities, including a musical instrument petting zoo courtesy of the Philharmonic Society’s Music Mobile, arts and crafts, photo booth, and more!! The activities begin at 1pm. Also, the performance is recommended for children over the age of 5.
