Pittsford Park in Lake Forest
Lake Forest has some of the best parks in Orange County with Pittsford Park being one of our all-time favorites. There is plenty of parking, lots of grass, bike trails, and one of the biggest play structures around. The best part – it is rarely crowded!
Parking is easily accessible from Pittsford street. Once your family has found a parking spot, your kids are never going to want to leave. There is grass forever and ever for your children to run and play. I recommend bringing your children’s bikes along for them to ride along the long twisty bike trails that curve throughout the grassy park.
The playground! There is climbing galore for children to enjoy at this park. There is a large play structure, smaller play structure, two swing sets and tons of little climbers. My kids favorite was the sand table and, of course, the teeter totter. There is not any shade over the play structure ~ but there are plenty of surrounding trees for children to cool down from the Summer heat. (The park is semi fenced in to help keep kids protected from the main street)
Next to the park is a tennis court and a couple of picnic benches. There is one set of picnic benches under a covering, but parents do need to reserve this in advance through the city. There are multiple drinking fountains for children to stay hydrated and bathrooms (clean bathrooms)!
Have fun playing with your children at this special OC Park!

This really is a big, fun park!
I would recommend caution when parking, espcially if you’re crossing the street. The street is a bit down hill, and cars tend to drive so fast when going by the park. The park itself is away from the street, up a slope, it’s getting off the car that can be dangerous.
Also it’s a very sunny park, none of the play structures have shade. On a warm day, they will be hot.
Thanks for the added tips!! We hope your kids had fun!!
