We Play Loud in Lake Forest

Sponsored

Just in time for the super-hot summer days, a brand-new indoor play facility just opened up in Lake Forest! It’s aptly named “We Play Loud” and is located just off the 5 Fwy at the El Toro exit (in the same mall as Slater’s 50/50).

The 12,000 square foot facility has lots of things to keep your kids (infant-9yo; 51” and under) entertained. The main play structure has a 4-person slide, foam ball area, obstacles, bridges, climbing, and so much more. In addition to that, there’s a separate bounce house, a balloon loft, and a ball pit. There are 4 “moving” rides – a big airplane and a boat in the front, and a spinning octopus and a palm-tree further inside. Everything is covered or made from soft materials, so it’s very safe.

There’s also a big baby/toddler area, gated off from the rest of the play area. Babies 2yo and younger can enjoy their own special rides and toys safely, with their parents and caretakers.

When the kids (and you) want to take a break, there’s a café area with a snack bar and 6 tables (each with 4 chairs). Various drinks, fruit cups, pudding cups, chips, cookies, fruit snacks, etc. are available. In the near future, they will have other healthier options available also. They offer free wi-fi also! In addition to this eating area, all along the walls of the facility are seating benches for the adults, and tons of storage cubes throughout the facility. Past the café area are bathrooms that are nice, clean, and roomy.

They have 2 large party rooms with large flat-screen TVs and audio systems, to accommodate birthday parties and other events. Their website also says that they will have child developmental classes.

What impressed me the most was the number of staff members present, assisting the kids and more importantly cleaning the play area/structures every 20 minutes. There is a red light at the front desk that goes on every 20 minutes. Staff members see the light, and start cleaning their area, with environmentally friendly products.

We Play Loud is open Mondays-Fridays 10am-6pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 9am-6pm. Prices are $13.50 for 2 people (1 adult and 1 child), and $6.50 for each additional person (adult and/or child) – good for 2 hours! Don’t forget socks for everyone!

  1. We went on Sunday the 6th and our kids LOVED it. They are 2 & 4. The only thing I didn’t like is how the tables are set-up. There is a airplane that blocks your view if you wanted to sit for a few minutes and watch your children. 🙁
