Prego Ristorante Teaches Blind Children How to Cook

Prego Ristorante

The popular local restaurant, Prego Ristorante, taught a group of children from the Blind Children’s Learning Center how to cook last week. Eighteen children were given this special opportunity to make their own pizza all under the guidance of Prego’s Executive Chef Ugo Allesina.

The visually impaired children ranged in ages from 4 to 6 years old. There were able to make their own pizza to take home and enjoy with their families. The students from the Blind Children’s Learning Center were given an amazing experience to learn vital skills needed to help with their development during the event. The children were able to have a full sensory experience of touch, scent and sounds.
